Take some time to have a closer look at the curriculum document for your level (P/J or I/S). By now you are familiar with the structure and the 'language' the Ministry uses in the ESL/ELD documents; and you may have formed a vague opinion of the usefulness of the document. What sections did you find helpful? The Introduction?
How about the achievement charts on pages 28-42 for P/J and pages 36-37 for I/S? Did they seem easy to apply? Were there sections of the document that left you frustrated because the information you sought was unclear, located in an unusual place, or missing altogether? From time to time, the Ministry invites teams of educators to update and revise the curriculum documents. What would you want them to know about the current version of the ESL documents we are using? Answer this question in about 250 words, and don't forget to indicate your first and last name in your posting.
